ART ON A CART
- Tales From The Traveling Art Teacher, by Heidi O'Hanley; "I started my blog back in 2009 after writing for NAEA's monthly mentor. I could not find any resources for teachers who traveled from school to school or pushed a cart from room to room, so I was inspired to start one! I spent 7 years as a traveling art teacher, which I gave my blog name. Last year, I was transferred to teach at only one school, but my classroom does not have a sink...which I can work with! I focus more now on adapting your teaching situations no matter what your materials, schedule, or environment is."

How do you store the students uncompleted art work? I made art folders to put in 1st -5th grade desks however Kindergarten has tables. I asked the teachers if I could leave the stack of art in their room, they were irate about it.
That is not fair to you that the kindergarten teachers did not want to help. I am so sorry you were treated this way! Keeping all the artwork organized in a class folder is the way to go and you should be allowed to ask for help with this since you are not in a classroom this year. Is there a store room you are allowed to use? Surely the school has made some kind of concession for you!
