I have used video clips with my elementary students for helping to teach concepts, for inspiration, AND for that tricky end of class transition. These short videos can help to calm young students down at the end of class and give them something to do while I finish gathering materials or setting up for the next class. The Go Noodle videos are also a great reward! The kids love to move and dance along with them. Below is my collection of videos I have found helpful. Be sure to preview these first! You never know ... one or two of the Mati and Dada cartoons (Henri Rousseau episode) have brief shots of nudity. Also, YouTube advertisements are not always appropriate for young audiences.
If you have a video clip that has helped your students that is not on this list, please share!
